Smarter Cities working group
Zoe Jennings, Principal Project Manager - Design, Delivery & Environment, London Development Agency
The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) brings together the world’s most significant cities (C40) to tackle climate change. The Buildings Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) program is the first project to be delivered through the Initiative. It provides a mechanism to make it financially feasible for cities to radically cut emissions from their buildings.
London has developed its own BEEP programme to accelerate the retrofitting of London's existing public sector buildings to help deliver on London's CO2 targets. BEEP is a joint initiative between the Mayor of London, the London Development Agency (LDA), Transport for London, the Metropolitan Police, London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority and the Clinton Climate Initiative.
Join Zoe Jennings, Principal Project Manager - Design, Delivery & Environment, London Development Agency in this webinar which will cover the following:
- Introduction to the Mayor’s Climate Change Programmes
- Explanation of the BEEP Programme
- Benefits to participating organisations
- Framework panel of approved suppliers
- Case study of the Mayor’s pilot project
- How organisations can participate in the programme
