Energy Management working group
Today more than ever, effective energy management is a crucial issue for the success of any business. For many, the answer is an Energy Management System (EnMS) - a framework for the systematic management of energy. As well as enhancing energy efficiency, an EnMS can cut costs and reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions providing you with a competitive advantage. BS EN 16001 represents the latest best practice in energy management building upon existing national standards and initiatives. The standard specifies the requirements for an EnMS to enable your organization to develop and implement a policy, identify significant areas of energy consumption and target energy reductions.
Register today for a FREE one to one health check with a technical specialist to better position yourself and respond to your business needs. This 45 minute session will allow you to:
- understand the basic requirements of an energy management system using BS EN 16001.
- discuss any areas of concern in understanding and implementing an energy management system.
- establish where you are in your journey to the implementation of an energy management system.
- take away a free copy of the ‘Energy Management - Principles and Practice’ book worth £30.00 as well as a 25% off GAP analysis day voucher.
