What Home Healthcare Means to Me
What Home Healthcare Means to Me
2:00 p.m. (BST) / 9:00 a.m. (EDT)
18th Aug. 2010
Greener Healthcare working group
Sir Muir Gray (Chief Knowledge Officer, NHS), David Pencheon (Director, Sustainable Development Unit, NHS) Piers Gatenby (Clinical Advisor to NHS Medical Director), Nick Chapman (CEO, NHS Direct), Mohammad Al-Ubaydli (CEO, Patients Know Best) and more.
This is an open online roundtable. We will be discussing the opportunities, barriers, policy decisions and technical considerations that might help or hinder a transformation to increasing home healthcare: from telephone appointments to full telecare and telehealth systems. To what extent could home healthcare lead to greater modernisation, efficiency and sustainability in the NHS?
We will be running the roundtable as a webinar and you are welcome to listen in and participate in the Q&A session.
