About the Awards

We thought it was high time that we recognized and rewarded the individuals and teams behind the initiatives, best-practice and pioneering sustainable business ideas providing real value to your organizations, as well as to the 2degrees community. Cue the inaugural 2degrees Sustainability Champions Awards!

What makes these Awards super special?

What better accolade than getting an award that’s voted for by your peers, the “players’ player” of sustainable business? Unlike other awards programmes, you won’t find a stuffy judging panel in sight. Instead, you, the good and wise people of 2degrees, have the power to judge, vote, and ultimately decide which of your peers deserves recognition of the highest order: A 2degrees Sustainability Champions award.

Voting: Have your say

These are your Awards, so make sure that you have a say in who is crowned your champion. By engaging in the voting process you’ll have the opportunity to help celebrate in the worthwhile and hard work of your peers, gain some valuable lessons and discover ways to implement similar initiatives in your own organization.

Voting is open to all 2degrees members. Entries in each of the 12 categories have been published on the platform for you to access and evaluate the value behind each case study prior to casting your vote. We’ve purposefully forsaken any voting criteria to give you free reign – you may decide that an initiative which is small in scale but big on ideas gets your support.

The winners

Following an initial round of voting, lasting until Monday 15th April, the top five scoring entries in each category will be shortlisted and taken through to the second and final round of voting. The subsequent winner of each category will be announced at an Awards Dinner in London during the summer.
