The Centre for Sustainable Energy has revealed the energy efficiency of over 40,000 public buildings in the UK including hospitals.
This is the first time that the full display energy certificate data for public buildings with a floor area over 1,000m2 has been made available in one place. The data was released by the Department of Communities and Local Government under a freedom of information act.
The dataset includes the address, floorspace, heat and power consumption, carbon emissions and energy efficiency rating.
