The revised safe management of healthcare waste guidance was published last month. Some people have difficulty accessing the guide, therefore a pdf and link to the Space for Health website with access instructions for the on-line version are available in the documents area for this group here.

Late last year we delivered a webinar on the key issues facing managers of healthcare wastes in these challenging times. This raised some interesting points at Q and A, particularly in relation to the proposed changes to this guidance document.

Now published, it may be useful for members of the group and for the Department of Health to receive feedback on the revision and any related discussion on implementing recommendations on an on-going basis.
