We know there’s some great work going on in companies across the planet as you venture towards more efficient and sustainable business models. We know that because we continue to showcase the very best examples of your work across the 2degrees platform. And for that, we are grateful.

But we want to give you more recognition for your hard work. That’s why we have launched the 2degrees awards.

But these aren’t just awards like all the others, with stuffy judging panels and the usual faces scooping up the best prizes.

No, these awards are entered by you and – crucially – they are voted for by you too. Yes, you, our lovely 2degrees members, are the judging panel. How do you like that?

To use a football analogy: if other awards schemes take on the role of the annual Football Writers’ awards in which the nation’s football journalists pick their best player of the season, then the 2degrees awards are more like the PFA Players’ Player awards in which footballers pick out the most deserving of their contemporaries for special recognition.

The awards are open to all 2degrees members. In the spirit of ultimate transparency, each of your entries will be published on the 2degrees platform and we’ll then invite you to read each one and assess the value behind each case study before casting your vote. And no, you can’t vote for yourself.

The aim is to really showcase you and your teams that have done something impressive these last 12 months. It doesn’t matter what sector you operate in, how large (or small) you are, or how much money you’ve spent – we want you to share your achievements as we look to reward the ‘champions’ of sustainable business.
