This report summarises research by ACE finding that support for the development of microgeneration technology needs to be increased if the UK government wishes to speed up its adoption.
Suggested interventions include: enabling local communities to engage in microgeneration schemes more readily; using the regulatory system to require the uptake of certain technologies; and strengthening the electricity grid to support a greater uptake of microgeneration.
