Today we held an interesting webinar entitled "BREEAM Communities - Beyond Sustainable Buildings" which, was presented by Ed Cotter, Manager - BREEAM Communities, Building Research Establishment (BRE).

Questions not covered during the webinar -

  1. konkana khaund - how do you acknowledge/credit  the role of smart technologies, intelligent building systems (with IT-aided active intelligence) in according a building as sustainable. Also please comment on how you credit commissioning, and retro commissioning in the follow-through process you described?
  2. Tamsin McCabe - What are the potential for allowable solutions i.e. particularly for improving energy efficiency of existing stock?
  3. Matt Sands - Is there a minimum project size for BREEAM Communities?
