About this group

This Working Group takes a leading role in initiating change towards sustainable supply chains, resulting in significant benefits to business, society and the environment.

Working Group members include CSR Managers, Product Managers, Sustainability Managers, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics Professionals, Life-Cycle Analysts and Packaging Experts.

Supplier engagement & collaboration – Highlighting successful models for supplier engagement and role of collaboration in monitoring supply chain conditions.

Carbon footprinting – Exploring what organizations are doing in this area, the latest global developments and expected future trends.

Customer engagement on supply chain issues – Discussing the mechanisms companies use to communicate with their customers about supply chain sustainability, including labelling and certification schemes.

Waste reduction with suppliers – Providing information on how companies are measuring waste across the supply chain, and how waste can be reduced through innovation.

Sustainable raw materials and agriculture – exploring particular agriculture and commodity challenges such as timber and coffee, and how supply chains can simultaneously meet commercial and development goals.

Monitor, report & reduce – Showcasing management systems and processes for managing sustainability issues in complex supply chains: including software systems, supplier scorecards, and sustainable design and innovation.
