How We Work

We help our members and clients overcome their challenges in a unique way by facilitating peer-to-peer problem-solving and managing collaborative projects that harness the experience of our member-base - over 6300 sustainable business practitioners and experts from across the world.

The combination of 2degrees consultants, our web 2.0 collaboration platform and the expertise of our remarkable membership means problems and opportunities are addressed faster and with lower cost and carbon emissions than would otherwise be possible.

The 2degrees service is delivered in three ways:

DIY Service

Individual members use the 2degrees platform and its tools to solve problems themselves by:

  • Searching for content
  • Finding and connecting with other members who can be of assistance
  • Joining subject-focused working-groups
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant news
  • Proposing the creation and supporting the management of a new subject-focused group
  • Participating in forum discussions
  • Attending webinars

Facilitated Service

2degrees staff work with their Virtual Advisory Boards, specialist Partners and members, within and across subject-focused groups, to identify and define common challenges. They create programs of managed activities, including 'Open Innovation Challenges' (using webinars, blogs and discussion forums and where appropriate, face-to-face meetings) to co-ordinate and encourage members to address these problems and challenges collectively. Content is gathered to support these activities and members are actively recruited to participate.

Smart Solutions

Organizations with sustainability challenges work with 2degrees directly to develop a bespoke program that harnesses the 2degrees platform, membership, partners and our managed services to address their needs. This is a consulting service, enabled by technology and harnessing the collective knowledge and capabilities of our members and partners.
