Energy Management

Energy efficiency and energy management is increasingly becoming part of the agenda for organizations worldwide – both driven by legislative and competitive risks. The Energy Management Working Group mission is to improve organizational energy efficiency with a forum for exchange of best practice for Energy Management, involving: energy users, consultants, solution providers, auditors and other practitioners.

The Energy Management Working Group will address:

  • Saving money by saving energy (and thereby preparing for future price-hikes)
  • Securing senior management buy-in for Energy Management and ensuring Energy Management is embedded in the culture of the organization)
  • Benefits of using a best practice Energy Management System (EnMS) to provide a business framework for Energy Management 
  • Understanding how energy factors can impact on energy consumption
  • Energy Management as a competitive differentiator
