How can cities help us achieve a +1.5C world?

The Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business is hosting a series of summer webinars focusing on resilience, the first of which will explore how cities can help us achieve a +1.5C world.

Expert panelists drawn from a diverse range of sectors, including the Mayor’s Office, ICLEI and the World Business Council Sustainable Development, will provide a different perspective on how cities can help us move towards a low carbon future.

We would like the event to be as participative as possible so we will be putting your questions to the expert panelists. To do so, simply type your question in the comment box below.

Can't make the event? Let us know and we will send you the webinar recording and minutes following the webinar.

Who we are?

Based at Lancaster University, The Pentland Centre acts as a hub that brings together the latest global views from across academic disciplines and engages directly with leading companies and organisations, including the Pentland Group and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Our vision is to create a world-class hub for transdisciplinary research on sustainability. The Centre explores macro trends, particularly in environmental sustainability, ethical trade, human rights, and how business can be a force for good.
