How Can We Increase Food Supply Chain Efficiency?

SIWI (Stockholm International Water Institute) is currently undertaking a research project on food supply chain efficiency.
SIWI are interested in receiving ideas on how food supply chain efficiency could be increased by 50% by 2025, and are currently asking a wide range of experts for 10-15 minutes of their time to fill in a survey. This research will be presented at the World Water Forum in March 2012.

The 6th World Water Forum
 will be held in Marseille in March 2012, and the forum will address Twelve Thematic Priorities, including the theme of "Food security by optimal use of water."

This survey aims to gather feedback on the target:
By 2015, define water-related components of a strategy that will improve food supply chain efficiency by 50% and promote sustainable diets, including steps for its implementation by 2025
